What can I say? It was about time to start a blog.

 

In December 2016 I saw a video of a turtle with a plastic spoon lodged in its nose and it was HEARTBREAKING and I started looking into initiatives for reducing single-use plastics. It led me to Instagram, where there are a ton of inspiring people going "plastic-free" or "zero-waste" and I started reducing my own consumption.

But I want to go bigger and learn about green initiatives in my area. I'm going to fill this blog up with ideas, actions and my own story as I figure out how to be an environmentally conscious but also generally happy adult.
